Bald Eagles     (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)
*****

A mating pair of Bald Eagles will continue to reuse the same nest year after year
adding to the present nest.   One of the largest Bald Eagle nests is reported at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio.
It measured 12 feet high, 8.5 feet wide and it weighed nearly 2 tons.
As the years go by, we continue to grow too, here at the Bald Eagle Nest!
